The REAL HOUSEWIVES of NYC, season 2, premiered February 17/09. As was the case with the original, The REAL HOUSEWIVES of ORANGE COUNTY, they solicited applications to be on season 2, and eventually added one new housewife - in this case Kelly Bensimon, a columnist for Hamptons Magazine and editor-at-large for Hamptons, Gotham, and LA Confidential magazines. To all those who replied, remember: we warned you they were likely only looking for 1 new housewife.
